I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a delightful staycation at Rater Tara Diner Rabi, a beautiful homestay resort located at Shantiniketan, just Two and a Half hours away from Kolkata. This peaceful retreat provided a refreshing escape from the daily grind and left me with a renewed appreciation for the beauty of Shantiniketan.

The homestay resort itself was a hidden gem. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the property exuded a rustic and tranquil charm.

The moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and hospitable hosts who made me feel like a part of their extended family. Their personalized touch added a sense of comfort and authenticity to the experience.

Accommodation at the homestay was cozy and well-appointed, with all the modern amenities one could need while maintaining Bolpur's traditional aesthetics. The room's balcony opened to breathtaking views of the surrounding Garden, allowing me to wake up to the sight of trees from Rabindranath Tagore's own Garden.

One of the highlights of my stay was the authentic local cuisine prepared by the hosts. I relished every meal, savoring the flavors of freshly picked ingredients and regional delicacies.

Exploring the place and its surroundings was a true delight. I took leisurely strolls through the peaceful streets, interacted with friendly locals, and even tried my hand at some traditional crafts.

Sonajhuri Haat was just 10 mins away from our Homestay. In the evenings, I enjoyed sitting in the beautiful balcony and stargazing, which are a rarity in the city.

The clear, unpolluted skies offered a stunning display of constellations, making each night memorable. My staycation at this homestay resort in Shantiniketan was a fantastic experience.

It allowed me to disconnect from the demands of city life and connect with the serene, slower-paced existence of rural living. It's an ideal destination for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat, a taste of local culture, and a chance to recharge in a beautiful natural setting.
